CIES 2017 Business meeting minutes. 

During our meeting, many of us shared our views on the current political landscape as it is manifesting both within the U.S., as well as transnationally. We hope this was a productive space within which to consider the role of a community like ours, with a shared interest in citizenship and democratic education, and we thank everyone present for their contributions to this conversation. We hope to continue to shape opportunities for dialogue at future meetings.
